Unhappy upgrading seats?

New to the forum and would like to first say hello and name is Scott. I drive a base roadster and finally found a nice set of leather crossfire seats for a reasonble price from a wreckers. However they were not tested before purchasing(note to self) and after disconnecting battery and installing and re connecting, the power adjust on both seats does not function. Both 21 and 22 fuses cary a 30a. Not sure what else to check except that the seats may be defective as I have a 90 day return warranty with purchase. Any help any advice or a different perspective would be greatly appreciated. greetings.

I've debating replacing my stock seats with some Bride ZETA's. The only thing is I want to keep the heaters. I haven't checked to see if you can order just the heating elements from the dealer.

We put a Carvaggio seat in the Z06 and were able to have custom pads made to use the stock seat heating system for the colder months (ordered the elements from GM) I'm hoping I can do something similar with my XF. Sliders would probably be a one-off job as well

A thread said that on a base model, a relay is needed to adjust the seats but it was vague. There was no mention of a part# or where to install the relay. I called three dealerships and was given 2 part#'s. A0025422219 wich is on back order and 51004857AA both $44 bucks. I don't know wich part to order and i'm leaning towards the later but still don't know how to install. I'm at the fase where I take the car to the dealership and let them fix it. Can anyone shed some light on my dilema greatly appreciated. Scott

Everything went smoothly with a little money thrown at it. The dealer installed the relay under the left dash as I could not find it. He billed me 2 hours labour as most of the time was spent understanding the issue first. The seats work great and I'm really happy with the purchase. As the relay was purchased from Mercedes, part # will be different from Chrysler. #A 002 542 22 19 (seat actuator relay) $44 Cad. Thxs to everyone that helped. Next fog lights.....
