Default Motorkote

Any opinions on Motorkote? I've had a few people tell me it's the best thing since sliced bread.
Would you ever put it in your Crossfire?

if it has cl2 in it you should never use it and i read that it does. Swimming Pool Chlorine in my engine never if u use moble 1-- 0 40 of 5-40 u do not need any thing else. just change your oil and filter ever 4 to 5000 miles or ever 5 to 6 months. ((((unless you race or drive the car very hard, then change your oil ever 3 months or 3 to 4000 miles)))) jim

Thanks Jim,

I'm just trying to sort through all of this. I don't race; I don't ever overwork this car. I've waited too long to have the car I wanted to abuse it.
So; my question was probably overkill; but I will say the guys who believe in this stuff are pretty positive.
Please understand; I am not an advocate; I want to know if the forum knows anything.
Thanks
John

Do a search here: Bob Is The Oil Guy - Forums powered by UBB.threads™
for more opinions on Motorkote, but I think AMX is correct. With a high quality synthetic oil like M1, the correct fleece filter and your moderate driving style, I don't see much that this additive brings to the party.

I agree, if these oil additives were any good why wouldn't the oil companies put them in to start with or make a premium brand oil with them added.
There are always companies that hang around the fringes of businesses that boast of improving the product, I view most of them as snake oil salesmen.
They do sell their products and with advertising some become well known brands, that does not make them legitimate in my eyes.

Thanks!
I took Harbor's advice and check out the oil site. I was totally confused as each side either overrated the product or claimed that it blew up their engine.
No Thanks!

10080-- ever heard of Eagle Lake?
