Brake Lever Cover
Has anyone removed the brake lever cover? The manual doesn't give a great description on how to go about doing this. They simply say lift up and pull off.
I need to remove it to get the center console removed. I want to mount some bluetooth hardware under it.

just the rubber, the rubber sits on metal...you really do have to pull but once it budges a little it comes right off. You could try sticking a small flat stong piece of metal between the rubber and the metal to pry it away a little, but be careful.
Yeah, that's what I tried. I even used two little screw drivers and slid them way down the rubber side of the handle in attempt to break it free. Perhaps it was too hot. Perhaps the Texas heat melted it on!
I was tempted to just cut the rubber handle off. I wanted to look into the cost of replacing it though. I ended up working around it and gave up on the whole idea. I was still just kinda wondering how it was done.
I'll give it another shot after running the AC for a while.
Thanks for the feedback!
