Hi All
A few new xfire owners have show their interested in attending Wheels Day on the 10tth April..They are Jamie Green..Ian Kirby and ybesty, be good to see a few new faces ( nothing wrong with the old one's) and thier and Crossfire's.

Any interest in a May meet at the new Forest before we attend Beetlebrox's meet in July? As mentioned in an earlier thread, there is lots to see and do there and the forest with its wild life is fantastic in May. Also there are plenty of good cheap local B&B's, Inn's etc, if you plan a weekend stay.

Maybe some of the new xfire owners have location idea's for future xfire meets in their neck of the wood? The more suggestions the more meets.

Cheers

Ken.

Don't worry...I've been to Wheels Day the past 3 years and have always met up with others at Tescos beforehand. Yes, a number of other car clubs meet there too, including the Ford Mustang and PT Cruiser clubs, but there has always been plenty of space for everyone to park up.

Hope to see you on Good Friday...it's a great show.

Regarding the Wheels Day Meet...If you have not attended any of our earlier meets and plan to attend this one, may I suggest the following.

It would be useful to exchange mobile numbers so that you can contact the group should you be delayed or lost on the show ground site.

If you wish to send your mobile number..do not post it her..send me a private message and I will return my contact number to you.

See you all on the day

UK Ken.

Hi, my plans for that week are changing and I might be able to make it. If so, I'm not sure if I could get there to meet up that early. If I came late morning, lunchtimeish would I just be able to enter as a member of the public or could I bring my car to join up with you guys ?

Hi Paul. The quick answer is both. You can either park up in the public car park and walk down to join us on the show field, or bring your car into the main show field late morning. Unlike most shows, cars are permitted to arrive and leave at will all day, so we could 'reserve' a space amongst us for your Crossfire and you could arrive late to fill it.

I was Essex area rep over at UK Cruisers for a few years and during that time I arranged 11 local Essex meets, every one rain-free. I ended up with a similar reputation as Ken (about arranging the sun, that is ) so hopefully between the two of us we can sort something out for this gathering!

Yes, the meet time/place on the day is still 9-9:15 am (for a 9:30 away) at Tescos in Aldershot. The address of Tescos is...

5 Wellington Avenue
Aldershot
Hants. GU11 1SQ

...and it's only a couple of minutes' drive away from the show field.

Look forward to meeting you and I'll PM you my mobile number in case you need to contact me on the day.

Cheers
Chris

Looking forward to catching up with everyone next Friday.

Regarding contact details, I will in the near future update the current list of email and mobile contact numbers that most of the regulars have, and add any new xfire owners as necessary.

If on the current list and you have changed your mobile number or email address than please forward me details.

Thanks
Ken.
