Wheels Day - Good Friday, 10th April 2009
Next year's Wheels Day is scheduled for Good Friday 10th April 2009 and, if previous shows are anything to go by, it will be one of the biggest and best car shows of the year. Not to be missed, it's again to be held at Rushmoor Arena near Aldershot, Hants.. Further details will be posted here in due course...

Hot rod heaven!
UK Cruisers (the PT Cruiser owners club) have attended Wheels Day the last couple of years. They will be there again in 2009 and I suggest we join them. I have e-mailed the show organisers to check that we can display as a 'club' on the show field, and I expect it to be fine.
Details have yet to be advertised for next year's show, but gates are normally open to the public at 10:00. Entry is £5.00 per person, with children and OAPs free.
The meet time/place on the day will be 9-9:15 am (for a 9:30 away) at Tescos in Aldershot. The address of Tescos is:
5 Wellington Avenue
Aldershot
Hants. GU11 1SQ
We can then drive the short distance to the showground and park up together.
Please post here if you would like to attend. I'll post more details as they become available.
Cheers
Chris

Chris - sounds great, count me in! Do they meet up at Tescos and then drive to the show in convoy?
(I am staying at Premier Travel Inn, Docklands Tuesday night, if you are about!)

AAAgghhhhh ! yet another one when I am away.. one of my usual two weeks in Yorkshire, we sometimes come back at the end of the week Anne usually has to work the Friday and Saturday.
This event looks like fun, I need to do some detailed planning and see if I can get there.

Hmm - given my experience of Easter this year (which didn’t happen due to work commitments), I’ll have to see. One of the people I work for is very disorganised, and seem to have product launches around the times of public holidays, and expect everyone to pull weekends...
Jane and Ken should be able to attend the wheels day meet..plus it will be free entry for us two!!
Other meet locations have also been suggested for next year..We should try and organize a record of the planed events, dates locations etc. so we can confirm who will be attending.
Ken.

Hi all,
Been away and busy with life for a while now and just popped over to the forums to see if anything interesing was happening. I might actually be able to make this meet (just down the road from me) as long as work doesn't get in the way.
Hope to see you all there,
Jamie

[quote=lissxf]Yes, that's the idea. A number of clubs use the Tesco car park as a meet point. The Wheels Day venue is maybe two minutes drive from there.
The Wheels Day organisers have confirmed that we can attend/display as a club.

Looking forward to the Wheels Day Good Friday meet. I see we are currently a bit low on numbers attendings. I have ordered my usual GOOD WEATHER for the day, so no reason not to attend.
As Steve UK mentioned, it will be a great day with lots to do and see, not just Xfire's. Plenty of food and trade stands, also craft stalls, and I belive a small fun fare
A suggestion..make it a family day out...you in the Xfire and the family in the day to day vehicle.
See you there
UK Ken.
PS Jamie..Try and make this your first meet with like minded Xfire owners.

Sadly, there’s too much going on in April for me to do this. I think every weekend is spoken for in one for or another, which is a pain.
My guess would be the tesco carpark is going to be very busy with sunday shoppers plus if a lot of clubs use it as their meeting point maybe someone more local or who as been before could suggest an alternative spot to meet
Hi Jon (Bodyman)
You and April will be missed. Have a good day with the family and see you at the next one.
Cheers
