Extended Warranty
Is that the official Chrysler warranty or some other supplier? When I asked my dealer they said Chrysler were changing them at the moment so could not give me a price am off there for a service next week so will ask again.
Hi Bamp,
please see my thread on this subject :

I'm happy to take any questions on this subject and hear on anyone else's experiences.
I have to say the way I was dealt with when I had a puncture at Goodwood festival of speed last year was without doubt the best example of customer service I can ever remember. This is a long story but the on-site AA folk ( paid for by Goodwood) were useless and their plan was to leave my car in a field for 2 days. Mondial Assist ( via the warranty) were outstanding. I won't go on as I may use some more superlatives !
PM me or discuss on the forum.
cheers
Paul

yes that is the same one I have. The dealer is just an agent of Chrsyler, it also means that any Chrsyler dealer in Europe provides assistance. One thing to watch out for ( just remembered) it doesn't have a "get you home" feature, it is a "take it to the nearest dealer get it fixed and give you a courtesy car in the mean time" feature. This is what nearly meant I turned up at the Chatsworth House Crossfire event in something that wasn't a Crossfire ! Part of the story of how they helped me ge it fixed for the Sunday crossfire meet.

My mate at work has got his Mini Cooper S covered by Warranty Direct and has been pleased with the service he's received.
I think they only cover up to £60 an hour though so rules out main dealers in less you want to pay the difference but as I've no longer got a main dealer anywhere near me it wouldn't bother me.
Norrie.

Got a quote from Warranty Direct using main dealer - £58 a month (£696) so not much of a saving compared to Chryslers £700. Only bonus is WD let you pay monthly.
