Hi Ken,
You would not be selling up with a view to leaving the Crossfire fraternity would you; I know you mentioned you like V8’s?
Alan.

Hi Alan E74778
Your correct I love and have had a few V8's..BUT moving on from my crossfire no chance of that.. Unless the grim reaper has a say in the matter!
Looking forward to seeing you at one of the future meets...perhaps at the May meet or the suggested track day?
Ken..

I think track days are great as long as you are driving someone else's car and I have done quote a few (suppliers have provided the car and paid for the day).
No chance of taking our car to any track or to Santa Pod. We want to keep the car for a long time without blowing the engine, damaging the gearbox or binning the car.
It is good fun though.
Pal of ours has a Lotus, he spun it, damaged the front clamshell, the rear clamshell and the bill came to £11,500. He did have the car insured for his track day but the excess cost him £1,500.
Al..............
Ps,
Go for a Startech Crossfire conversion, 426 BHP with a 6.1 L Hemi V8 and you can have the best of both worlds. You might need to upgrade the wheels, tyres and brakes though.
