Warning Light

Default Warning Light

Just got a BAS/ESP Warning light on dash....hope this isnt the first of many......

Car spent the day at the dealers, they have decided its the the steering angle sensor - so back again on Thurs to get it fitted

I didnt know we needed a sensor to monitor steering angle; thought we did that with the steering wheel!

Apparently we do....

Garage advises another symptom is the spoiler going up when you start the car, if only i'd know that sooner, it did that a couple of times recently.

I don't mean to "jump the pond", but the spoiler deploying at startup is also a symptom of a weak battery.

Or so I thought...

Yes. That happen to me as well. Time for a new battery.

Mine checked out fine to. Purchased a new battery anyway and that stopped the problem. Not sure if thats the same for yours?
