Default Another Bump !

It was another take away, Pizza this time, rather than fish & chips. Stationary again , parked up on the side of the road minding my own business and this lad reverses out of an entrance opposite across the road and into the front left corner of my car. Amazingly it looks like the bumper just took the impact and flexed without scratching. The inner wheel lining is cracked and a crack has appeared in the windscreen presumably due to the stress on the frame of the car.

Looks simple to fix and really lucky I don't need a front bumper as there aren't any....

I'm not using the crossfire to collect take aways any more

Good to know you got away without needing a new bumper.

Unlucky mate. I take it the lads insurance is coughing up?

Hope the Pizza taste good.

Are windscreens easy to come by for the Crossfire? Mines chip free at the moment but has crossed my mind about replacement screens.

Considering the narrow streets and smallish parking area around most townships in the UK, I'd say that is very sound advice. I presume the bonnet didn't take any damage. Good luck with the windscreen!

Beeble:
Sorry to hear that! I hope the guy's insurance is taking care of that for you. I hit a deer last year, and that was very pricey, to say the least.

Bazzer:
I don't think so on the windscreens. Actually, there are several companies that make crossfire windscreens. If you check out windscreenreview.net, there are some good reviews on there, and I ended up settling with Windblox because I wanted Lexan. It's been super so far.

Hope you can get compensation from the little twonk - get his money and string him up!

Have you had the earlier repairs done yet?

Oh, and get your fast food delivered from now on!

He has settled up cash, no problem. And no , haven't had the rear done yet, still negotiating with the insurance company, Chrysler are being difficult they just say that the parts will be available soon but won't give any date and just seem to get grumpy when pushed for any details, which makes me not believe them. I noticed recently that a company is marketing re-manufactured bumpers in the U.S. which may be my best ( only ) option
