Default Xfire Surprises

Just wondered if any one had any Xfire surprises - things that the Xfire can do that arent in the owners manual - hidden gems of delight or simple mods - Ive spent ages looking through the threads and wondered if any one had any updates.

As its been warm the last few days Ive also realised the Xfires potential for spinning its wheels without a push - mmm - traction control vs new tyres - I recon I need to keep her steady?

I’ve found doing 88mph can cause space/time to behave in curious ways.

Try this ..... someone told me but I'm chicken to try it .... don't like the alarm .... Lock your car and make sure the alarm is set (blinking light on "rest" switch), then unscrew and remove a valve cap. Said to set off alarm ......Don't know if it does or doesn't ..... Let us know .....

Hi,
the well documented ( on this site) Throttle Reset is the main one I know of. Makes a difference if you do a lot of motorway crusing or just general easy driving and want it to have a sharper response.

+1 on the throttle body reset, makes a hell of a difference.
And the "OMG" button on the floor under the gas pedal.. hit that once and I swear, you will say OMG

Just as a side - when I did the reset - I also had to re-install my sat nav and radio stations into my Infinity system because they had all been lost - didnt take long but didnt realise this would happen just in case any one has a bash.

This really does make a big difference and I didnt know of the feature - so thanks again.
