Tyre pressure
Hello! Just a quick question about tyre pressures. I checked my air today - been very lax and not done it for over 4 or 5 weeks now (I know I know!!) and the pressure in the rear tyres had dropped to 29 in each. Is it usual for the tyres to lose air pressure like this or have I got a problem??? I've had cars that do tend to lose pressure if not checked and some that don't so I'm not sure what to think (apart from I must check far more reguarly!)
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Living in a colder environment myself, tire pressure can easily drop. During this time of year with the cooler weather, all my cars start to show low tire pressure light. I don't think any tire is leak-proof, so some air lose is natural.
Just had my Crossfire serviced & MOTd at Mid Kent Chrysler....excellent service if you ever need a garage.
Checked my tyres this week & was amazed to see they had put 36 psi in them. Like Steve, I usually run on 31-32psi. Mid Kent Chrysler says they use the official manuals & they recommend 36 psi.
Tyre & ride feel ok, but I'm dubious about having them this high in the winter in snow/ice. The car isn't great in icy conditions as we know, so what psi does everyone else run their tryes at?
Confused!
Driving the car may turn the light out as the air in the tire warms up but it is still requiring more air to get the tire to the correct pressure and a better wear rate.
UK pressures, N/A 33 rear 32 front, SRT6 36 all round
it's on the drivers door pillar!!
a couple of psi either way on normal day to day driving will make no difference anyway. :-)

Thanks for your replies/answers. Seems everyone runs on different pressures! What difference does 3-4 psi make though....is it a safety issue? Been running on 31/32 psi for 3 years without any trouble- tho' did notice steering improved now tyres at 36psi....guess that's because there may be slightly less rubber/tread on the road surface.
Still confused!
(Thanks Mo, but I've lost the sticker with the tyre info on from the door pillar]
