It's for maintaining the humidity required so your cigars don't dry out, the green stuff on the left in the 4th photo is soaked in mineral water and the internal wood (ceder i think) maintains the humidity. The dial at the front monitors humidity and you simply top up the green stuff when needed. Also forgot to mention, the lighter is a prometeus butane jet and etched with the crossfire logos. Also this is a special fit for the centre console.

Gaz, I appreciate you offering up the sale of your humidor here on the forum. That's awesome. I know there's a bunch of guys looking for them.

However, I would bet that you would make more money on ebay. If memory serves me, the last one I saw go on ebay went for over $400 US. I would buy it myself if I wasn't tight for cash.

I emailed a couple hours ago to ask if he would ship to Canada - not sure if it was bad etiquette to have not posted on the thread. Sorry if it was.

Wow, i've had loads of interest over night from the US and Canada, i've decided to check shipping costs (fully insured) and then place the humidor on ebay, i know this sounds greedy but i'm currently unemployed and needs must. I'll take a few more photos and maybe a video and upload them here so you can get a better look at it. I hope to have this done by tomorrow, any questions in the mean time please don't hesitate to email me.
Thanks again
Gareth

I made an offer at once and came back to see that a person who had posted only one post and then only to sell a humidor had been advised that long time members could possibly be made to pay more for the humidor.

Would you have advised the use of eBay if you had the money available to buy it yourself at this time?

I think not.
