Default Crossfire on Top Gear

As I was having a lazy Saturday morning browsing the tv channels, what should I come across on DAVE tv but our lovely Crossfire[roadster] on an old edition of Top Gear from 2005.

Sadly I'd missed about the first 25 mins of it so didn't see the start, but caught up with it when they were racing the 3 cars, an XF, Audi TT & Nissan 350z in Iceland...on a very slippery volcanic ash beach.
Sadly Capt Slow got to drive the XF so naturally came last ...- beaten well by the Audi & narrowly by Hamster in the Nissan. They really couldn't agree with which was the best car though as they said there were faults with all of them. Their main gripes with the XF seemed to be poor engine parts [!], lack of grip & power- not a true sports car they said...more of a cruiser. They did all say how good looking & comfortable it was though- Clarkster was particularly impressed with the looks, comfort & price!

Have tried looking to see it this episode is to be repeated but no joy so far. If anyone spots it, it's the episode where Sir Tim Rice is the 'Star in a reasonably Priced Car'!

Thanks Maxcichon for linking to this - This is one of the better T.G. episodes, and the report was great for us XFire fans to watch, and at least Clarkson (Greatest Buffoon ever to appear on TV) did not slate it too much this time, like he did when they did their original Crossfire report. He originally described the rear end of the car as being like a dog doing something. If it's not rear engined, has rack and pinion steering and at least 350hp, usually with a badge with a horse on it, he is never impressed. And to spend lots of money taking three sorts roadsters to Iceland, to race them on a beach and a rally track to find out which was "best" is a mystery. Still, this is not a serious motoring programme, and is only meant to be entertainment.
