Like Damien Searbys SRT, I would like to replace my amber side reflectors with red. Has anyone any idea where I could locate a set?

Also looking for Eye Lids..not for me...for the Crossfire, I had a set colour coded for my pevious crossfire and woud like to fit a pair to my current crossfire..I belive Steve Page is also interested in a set...again, any thoughts on where to locate/ purchase them from?

CTD in Germany have red side markers (reflectors) and headlight eyebrows, (called eye liners!)

Red markers are a great mod as you can wire them into rear side light so they light up as per USA spec, using 5w bulbs and the bulb holders which are same as front side lights and supplied very cheap by MB dealers. Let me know if you want more info on this.

Where did you purchase your red side markers from? CDT have them, but at £80..no thank you. Also have the Eye Liners I'm looking for, but again priced at £80. plus shipping.

Pretty sure that red lights/reflectors on the side of a uk car are illegal - should be orange. I stand ready to be corrected

 

Muskrat..Your correct...but many number plates are incorrect in minor detail..but the police are not to interested..so I guess a change from orange to red lens on the side reflectors will generally pass unnoticed. Plus red side reflectors look much smarter than orange on my black roadster.
