crossfire wanted please help

Default crossfire wanted please help

Hi guys will cut straight to it i was parked up today in my bmw z3 waiting for the girfriend to come out of the trainstation when a black crossfire convertible pulls up roof down like a bond movie and then he sat there waiting as well.. i have never seen such an awesome looking car i had seen the review of the coupe on top gear where clarkson says 'looks like a dog having a poo' and always thought i like the show but that was so wrong its class but never actually thought anymore about them then today years later i seen this and fell in love.. i have been reading up on them loads and i want one i am 29 and have the money here if someone can help point some out or if there selling theres please help me... carlstorey1@hotmail.com

Hi mate...your best option would be Autotrader.... I used it to look for mine, had her for 3 months now and she's an absoulte blast to drive and constantly getting looked at.

Future classic...

Don't just use autotrader. Check out as many places as you can. Motortrend, ebay, etc. Also, I like the fact that he came he. You may get some hits on here and / or those on here that know of members selling. Also, if you find one that's not local, many members are willing to go look at the vehicle for you if it's in their area.

Hope your search turns up a good one.

wow all this is great guys thanks, i have been looking in autotrader and on ebay and pistonheads daily, am after a black convertible or red convertible but am seeing them for like £8995 on an 05 which i am unsure about maybe you can help me with this, but thats very expensive i think as the convertibles seem to be about 2k more than the normal ones..

there is a gunmetal grey one 05 reg (£5995) about 30 mins from me i went to see it its nice but the black i think is deffo the for me, whats the most sort after colour as black seemsw to be hard to get in the convertible, have heard there is a button that you can promgram to open your garage door is this standard on all models or ?

If you think black is hard to find, try and find a white one.

Did you find one in the end?

PS-Yes there is a button for opening your garage door - there are instructions in the handbook on how to pair it with the radio frequency of your door gear. I don't know anyone in the UK who has this working as we Brits tend not to go in for this type of set up in a big way. It was featured for the USA market where drivers are not as agile as us and cant get out of the car as easily due to the size of their steaks!
