Default Hakook tyers?

Has anybody ever had Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 tyers on the front? I found a special offer on the black circle web site for £118 each fitted & thought that was quite a good price...... Last time i bought tyers it was for a Nissan Micra & paid very little attention to the whole process lol! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hankook are a popular budget tyre on standard road cars but they are known to give a hard ride and you need to check that you can get matching rears for when you need them. Speed and Load rating needs carefull checking as well. I dont think they are suitable for a high powered car, but fine on a Micra!
The price you have is not cheap, Falken FK452 are about £109.20 fully fitted and have proved them selves on many Crossfires. I would not look at another tyre having had these for the last couple of years.

A lot of us folks on the other side of the pond have the Hankook tires and have had good reviews. I just replaced my coupe tires last week with these and so far so good.

Smile Re: Hakook tyers?

Just had new Falkens fitted all round after my MOT. They are SO much better than the old ones [Continental?] Totally different/better ride & much quieter & steering seems improved too. Look good too.

Many thanks to Steve-UK for his help in finding & helping get them fitted, & for doing the pre MOT checks too etc. Top class service from the top man!

I'd recommend www.clickontyres.com.
Reliable, reasonable price & fast delivery.

I only had them on the front but I have noticed much less road noise too.

They seem to ride nice on the rear but they don't hold the road as well as I expected. I can't imagine them on a srt-6.
