Christmas Lunch Burford December 4th 2011. 1pm

It will soon be that time of year again, so plans have now been made for the UK Crossfires Christmas Lunch! Having spoken with several of our members who were very happy with last years arrangements for lunch at the Windmill Carvery, we will be returning there again in December - but this time hopefully without the snow! This restaurant can cope easily with our numbers, has good parking, and very reasonable prices: 3 Courses + Coffee £17.50. Paying individually on the day. A group booking has been made, but I do need to you to confirm your attendance as soon as you can and in any event by the cut off date 20th Nov (2 weeks before the day) Please visit Windmill Carvery website for more information about the venue. For those who would like to make a weekend of it, again there is the option of arriving on the Saturday and staying over in Burford. Again, The Golden Pheasant has been chosen which has a total of 8 rooms available, on a first come basis. Although there is a range of room styles, from 4 poster to twin, we have been offered a flat rate of £85.00 pre room bed and full English breakfast. To book your room, please contact the owner Lawrence at The Golden Pheasant directly, details below. We will be dining at The Golden Pheasant on the Saturday evening at 8.00pm and anyone staying elsewhere just needs to let me know that they will be joining us to eat. Once these rooms are gone, they are gone, so I do recommend booking straight away!! If too late, it will then be a matter of trying the various other choices in Burford.
