thanks for the info on the date change colin....i have just cancelled my booking at the premier inn for the 8th...rebooked for the 29th and its £60....£9 cheaper.....regards....chris

Just cruising through the new posts and noticed you were from Northampton. Myself and the wife are originally from Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, then lived in Blyth Northumberland for 25 years. We now live in Houston, Texas, but have lived in a wide variety of places in the U.S.A. over the last 17 years we have been over here. Why your post caught my eye, is because my Daughter lives in "Raunds, Northampton. Her and her husband own a quite large Taxi Company "Twenty4Seven". I also have a Son that still lives in Blyth, Northumberland. We do not visit Britain very much now, prefer to send money to the kids to come over here to visit us, can't be bothered with all the Airport hassle nowadays. We are very active members of the Crossfire Forum, as we have an SRT6 Roadster in Aero Blue, and just recently sold a Limited Alabaster Roadster. It is nice to hear you have an active Crossfire Club there. Stick with it, as these cars are Fantastic Fun Cars.

What happens at this event?
Wife and I would like to attend at least one show this year to meet some members but dont want to travel a long way to find nothing special going on, done that too many times with other car clubs.

We were also planning on making a weekend in Norfolk and attending the Sandringham event but my wifes "Race for Life" run falls that weekend.

 

Russ 59.. I suggest you check out the www.ukcrossfires.co.uk all the answers to your questions are there. Its a good mix of events..I think all owners would like meets near them...but sometime's you have to bit the bullet and travel a few miles. All the owners are a friendly bunch and will make you very welcome.

Hope to see you at a future meet...Castle Combe is the next meet, any chance you could make that one? its always a great meet with lots to see and do.

Castle Combe Meet June 30th

Currently there are still rooms available at Premier Inn Chippenham ..08715278244 or book on line.

Ther are 6 or 7 xfire owner already book in for the Friday night. Suggest we meet in the bar around 7 pm onwards for the usual xfire chat etc.
