Has anyone fitted a Magnaflow Catback to their Crossfire in the UK.

If so, where did you get from, was it easy to fit and how much was it ?

Yes I have recently fitted one to Gill's car, I got it on fleebay, as new only been on a car for 5 mins as they did not like it and only paid £103 I believe they are around the £500 mark to buy new, they go on very easy (with the car in the air) 3 bolts and 2 rubber hangers simples.

Nice tone but quite loud Looks good, I will put a photo up when I get home tonight.

It is a very nice tone at low revs and once past 3000 revs the world knows you are coming!!!!

apparently Magnaflow are bringing out one to fit the SRT6 don't know how true it is but I will be at the front of the queue to buy one if they do!!!

Just had a look on UTube, only on my phone so the sound is not to good, but yes the "growl" is about right!!

I contacted Magnaflow sometime back, they said they have them for the SRT 6..

I have just spoken to Profusion Customs, they are Magnaflow uk agents. they say that at present there is NOT an off the shelf system available for the SRT6 but I am going to see them on Saturday morning to talk about having a custom system made

The cat-back stainless steel exhaust system (mid & rear section) you've requested for your Crossfire will cost £575.00 this is fully inclusive of fuel discount (£25), VAT & fitting. I have included round tailpipes in the quotation. Should you wish you can choose an alternative or upgrade (various twin tailpipes etc.) from our extensive range of over 40 tailpipes.

We carry all the necessary parts needed to build your exhaust system in stock and as a guide it should take no longer than 3-4 hrs to build & fit the system to your vehicle.

I am having a Magnaflow system being custom built and tuned to the tone I want! £550. will be ready at 3 will let you know the results.

£550 all in! took them approx 3 hours, choose your own tips and exhaust note, very very pleased They are based right by T5 Heathrow.


Beware of PIJ all my familly live in the Walsall area, have heard that they use very low quality silencers from Taiwan, don't know if it is true or not, but no smoke without fire as they say.

 

This has been bugging me....so went back through my old emails and found my original enquiry sent to Magnaflow UK back in Nov 2010 they confirmed that the cat back systyem part no:16633 will fit the SRT 6 ...I was unable to post it on here but if anyone wants to pm with their email address i will forward the original..

 

Called them Wednesday. They quoted me £660.00 not the including fitting or postage. Called again today and got a better quote of £550 all in. Might be going Wednesday.

MMM ..So tempted a group buy would be a good idea...think we might get a bit of a discount but if the wife found out it could get ugly ha... something to think about.

 

I can assure you part No.16633 WILL NOT fit SRT6, 100% on that. That is what I have fitted to Gill's standard Crossfire. I looked at moding it to fit my SRT6 but it is no were near the same, not even close.

 

YOU DONT need to assure me if it will fit or not i have the email sent by Magnaflow themselves ...they should know what they are selling if it bothers you that much take it up with them...
