Ok! who's going?

I will be taking both cars and aiming to arrive at the 'Competitors Gate' @ 07;30 - 08;00

If anyone else from the Kent area or any other wish to meet up to travel to the event, give me a shout, We will be leaving Kent 06;00 (ish)

Totally agree Chris, was begining to think I was going on my own

Don't know if I am reading it right, but, if we are displaying our cars, do we not need to be ready in position before jo public are let in at 9? or are we just jo public that are just parking our cars together in the same spot?

An excellent turnout for CC this year, and matching last years numbers of 14 xfires, weather was mainly sunshine with the occaasional short shower.

It was good to see/chat over a meal to those staying at the Premier Inn on the Friday evening. The later part of the evening was spent with a few xfire regulars at the bar.

The distance between xfchris's rear bumper and my front in the carpark the following morning, proved I enjoyed the evening, perhaps a little to much!!

lets call it perfect judgement ken.......knowing exactly how long your car is...good meet the weather being better in the morning, rain cutting the afternoon a bit short, good to see everyone again after a couple of months and see you all at sandringham....chris

Sounds good. I suggest we keep it small and occasionally rather that a set monthly meet. We certinly don't want to give the impression that our mini meet is an alternative to the main xfire group events.

We also need to ensure the dates don't fall on or near those of the main xfire group.

Hi Ken, I agree I do not think it will be constructive to the club to have any regular "local" meetings. In my view that will only dilute the attendance at meetings. We must ensure that ALL Xfire meetings are organised centrally, not at local level. If close members wish to meet informally, that's fine, but not at the expense of National meets which have been so well organised by Steve Walsh.
