Just an idea at the moment, if enough interest I will get details together.

The intention would be a Crossfire ONLY track day, how it would work is... for those of you who don't know how track days work..... usually there are three groups, Novice, Intermediate, and fast, each group has 5 x 20 min sessions on track through out the day. We would make one group a Crossfire only group, it would not matter what you ability is.

I have done lots of track days not only in cars but on bikes too and they are a real blast. You don't have to rag round, you drive at the speed you are comfortable with. It is not a free for all, you have to be responsible or you get thrown of the track.
They usually cost around £150. we would need to get 10/15 cars for this to work

Anyway, just a thought if you think you would be up for it let me know

I'd have been potentially interested but the potential fpr me to stuff my car up would have been too great!!!

It is surprising how much abuse a car gets on a trackday. I did one a few weeks back at Blyton in my MX5 and I managed to loose a centre cap and a wheel nut!

The brakes get so much hotter and the temperature transfers to the wheels and that's when the wheels become looser and the wheel bearings release some grease, good fun though not sure I could afford to take the XF on a track I did almost half a tank in the 5 and I was only on track an hour or so
