I just got these in the post this morning:



Printed black on chome and in domed resin. Very pleased with the result.
They cost me £23.50 inc postage and arrived in a few days. I sent him a photo of my original wheels plus the diameter needed: 54mm and he took care of the rest. I bet if anyone else wants them just email him a link to this thread and I bet he'll remember the job and re-produce.

Looks nice. But the original is not in b/w ? They are somewhat goldish I guess..?

 

how much is the thickness of the badge?

Are those coverup-silecone stickers, or can u use these if yours are completely missing?

It does say on their website (link in first post) that they will make any badge if you supply them with the details, colour ones will probably be more expensive though. And I would assume these are stick over decals that fit over the corroded standard decals.

 

Re color I'm not sure. Mine had black / chrome on it when I bought it so maybe it's a regional thing?

They are 1.5mm thick and I fitted them directly to the centre cap after removing the old ones fully. The old ones delamintaed during removal and cramming them back together they measure at 2.2mm, but some of that was due to damage.

They look like OEM parts when on the car.

I just installed the same greyscale version of those badges on my front and rear from an ebay seller. If you want to match the front and rear emblem to the wheels, I can get you a link...

That being said, the emblems on my wheels don't look like the gold/blue that were on the front and back..

 

Can I use Mercedes emblems on the wheel center caps and front and back?

The 55mm emblems fit the wheel covers.
One catch, you have to sign for the package when delivered by US Post Office as it is coming from Latvia. Go figure...

 

We fitted colour ones, obtained through eBay, last year for about the same price as quoted above. They look great!!
