Hey so do I its like waiting for Christmas!!!
quite, especially an SRT6!! Thing is though I've made an agreement with SWMBO, I intend to try and keep the XF which (hopefully) will make way for a 2012 Challenger R/T or SRT8 in a couple of years (if I can save enough!) - and SWMBO will end up with the XF (win/win)
Hey Paul you know my first XF was Aero Blue and though I did get converted to red I still believe the blue is fantastic. If I remember rightly, I believe the Aero Blue cars were widely accepted as the fastest Crossfires as well!!!
All the best with the collection Steve, hope it turns out good & the fine looking beast will soon be in your driveway. Guess the first time we get to see it will be in the Golden Phesant car park, if you cant make to Pod.
erm...... excuse me!!!!!! what a load of twadle
we all know BLACK is the fastest colour.
UKKen.
I noticed the 2006 SRT6 markings with the emblems on the front fender, when you gat a chance, please provide the VIN# (serial#) for our tracking database (sticky) in the SRT6 section of the forum. As of this date, we have 50 of those rare 2006's listed at this time.
Good luck with your purchase.....
Thanks,
Dennis

No no no, now i don't want to get into an argument about this, but apparently the colour black and Red are of course are solid colours, and they do have drag properties the actually slow the cars down, even the SRT's are slower than the standard Blue Roadster, i'm only talking out of experience as i kept overtaiking them on the way down to Laon, of course Steve was cheating, cos his red coup was so shiny he tried to Dazzle us off the road, but i soon put pay to that with my polarised glasses, as for Mikes SRT and Startec, we kept overtaking them because they had to stop to clean the flies off the cars, because the weight of them slowed them down , and being black they were not shiny enough to deflect the little critters , plus Mike and his boys were too busy looking at the ladies and losing concentration! its not exactly scientific, i know but if you guys have anything to add please feel free!
Soooo looking forward to Laon lol

Yes Paul I agree, and just last week I was reading an article about how black and red cars also suffer from greater wind resistance as well and how blue cars have virtually no wind rersistance at all so they are bound to be faster! If you think about, thats why the famous Blue Bird speed record car was Painted blue! It was a very good article in the " April 1st" edition of Hot Hatch
