“Winter Warmer Weekend”

For Members of The UK Crossfire Group

Once again the time is nigh for a relaxing winter weekend in the Cotswolds – you know you deserve it and we hope you can join in the fun.
Our venue once again is Burford in the heart of the Cotswolds. This is chosen as a central location that is hopefully within reach for most of our members. You can either make a weekend of it by arriving on Saturday to stay over, or just attend the 3 course Carvery lunch on Sunday. The choice is yours, and either way it will be wonderful to have the pleasure of your company.
Please see the itinerary and booking instructions below and once decided, let us know your plans asap! We must have numbers for Sunday lunch confirmed by 18th November latest.

Booking Instructions for Accommodation Saturday 1st December:
Accommodation has been reserved at the newly refurbished Golden Pheasant, Burford at a preferential rate of £70.00 per room bed and breakfast. 10 rooms have been reserved for us must be booked direct asap mentioning you are with the UK Crossfire Group. These rooms will not be held for us for long so please book urgently if planning to stay and please confirm your plans back to me.

Saturday 1st December
Arrive at your leisure in Burford on Saturday 1st Dec and Check into The Golden Pheasant, Burford. Rooms available from 2pm. Meet others in the bar late afternoon or early evening, by 7pm will be good. A table has been booked here for a group meal at 8pm. Menus will be available before hand and a good choice of fayre is offered. The remainder of the evening spent at leisure to chat and relax with friends old and new.

Sunday 2nd December
A full English breakfast will be served for guests in the Golden Pheasant restaurant on Sunday morning. Then for those interested; a local scenic drive will depart from outside front of the Pheasant at 10am. (You will need to check-out in time for this) The drive will take us to Bourton On The Water, with time for a walk through the village and a coffee. We can then meander back to meet up with others at our lunch venue.
Suggested meet time for everyone at our lunch venue, The Windmill Carvery is 12.00 to 12.30 and to be seated by 1pm. Parking between the banners if possible. The carvery is 3 courses plus coffee/tea at the excellent price of £17.50 per person. Please note – we will confirm the numbers for lunch. You do not need to book lunch, but you must tell us you are coming for lunch by 18th November. We will hold a raffle after lunch again this year and any donations of prizes are definitely very welcome.
