The list is:

  • I would help you mate...but you are on the other side of the pond...lol. Here in the states if this helps...it could be between $12-14K. Just don't know the market over there... You would get less here because your steering wheel is on the wrong side....good luck....lol....

Maybe you can take a look at pistonheads and find a similar car as a price reference:
Used Chrysler Crossfire cars for sale with PistonHeads

lol you beat me to it!! Seriously though for most peeps it's a 2004 XF the lo miles helps as would the colour but being brutal about it I'd have thought it's not going to be worth a whole lot more than a clean 04/54. As an example I bought my 06 in march @ 6.1k (24,500 miles, 2 owners FSH etc) I suspect the same car now wouldn't fetch close to 6

REALLY wish you luck though

you could try the "we buy any car" crooks see what figure they give and then add a dealer's margin on to your asking price (possibly £1,500 on top?)

That's just my problem. As than 04 Crossfire its not worth a great deal but bolt in the condition and colour, its worth a bit more. But what?
I don't know what to do. May be I should keep it. But it needs to be used and most of the year it just sit there.

Here's some pic any way.

Although it's an issue now, it won't be too long before the relatively few years between the first & last XFs will be less relevant to value. Then, rightly, age mileage & general condition will be the overriding factors.
I recently sold my 1973 BMW 2002tii (to raise funds for my SRT) - they were also made for a similar 4-year period (71-75) and, apart from facelift detail changes, anyone wanting a good tii will not care what year it is - and it was that way over 20 years ago when I bought my first one. OK, some of us might not see our XFs' 40th birthdays but you get the idea!

As things are now though, I'd start by thinking of it as a very nice standard colour '04 at £4k - then add £500+ for the very low mileage, then the (depreciated?) value of the extras, depending on how important they are to a prospective buyer - everyone's priorities are different.
I've noticed some sellers suggesting they could remove some mods if necessary.
Wish it was a manual with cedar interior, then I might be raiding the piggy-bank...

Hi Waylander. Had a chat with Mrs Jon and we have decided to keep her for a bit longer. But you are welcome to pop in if you are out this way.

lol - you've made a happy lady very unhappy (not that I'm trying to guilt you <grin>)... truth be told the only reason we'd have been venturing out Oxford way would be with a view to a 'kill' (sorry I'm a Bond fan too!!) otherwise we'll be doing the packing up of my house. Obviously if you decide at some point to sell let us know and IF we are in a position to offer interest at that stage.....
Hope to see you at one of the meets

Hi jon, I've only just registered and seen your add. I've been looking at crossfires for a while but the prices are quite up and down. Have you an idea what your looking at for yours? I'm looking at a 54 plate one today with LPG for £3290. Bizarre how the prices differ. What are repairs/ maintenance like. Thanks
Craig

Craig. Not sure about the cost of repairs, never had a problem to repair yet. Maintenance is only a yearly service + mot. You can do most of the servicing your self to save a bit of money. Well if I was to sell her the price would be on the high side for an 04 because of the very low mileage and colour.

Thumbs up Re: What's it worth.

Jon, You're white crossfire is one of a kind..so much detail has gone into the interior and exterior which makes its like no other xfire in the UK.

The right enthusiast will pay top dollar (£) for such a vehicle. When ready to sell, do a serious bit of general advertising, Classic car for exsample, and the chances are you will locatee the right buyer.

Had it been black, I would be that buyer.

Good luck

UKKen
