Default Tyres

Hi
had an interesting power slide in wet yesterday prompting another look at rear 2.5mm on both - not good.

Cast around seems the latest in sensible price tyres is the new Avon ZZ5 so went an got a pair on rears 255's as coming to winter.
They vary around here but typically £170 fitted etc which seems good compared to others like Khumo, Falken.

Seem a lot quieter than the Cooper Zeons that were on - as car has only done 2 miles so far will update this later re grip etc

Hmm did consider 275 but a larger section coming up to winter season didn't seem a good move hence 255's

Certainly a quiet tyre (bliss) plenty of grip despite weather looking good so far
