Default Heated seats

My drivers heated seat has failed but only on the backrest, the seat base section still works fine. My local Chrysler dealer is telling me its not fixable. The only option is a new seat at £1200.00!
Surely therse a fix. Anyone had any experience?
Thanks

Not an easy job maybe, time consuming to say the least.

I'd have thought a visit to a seat upholstering business would sort this out for you @ considerable less cost (though still not cheaply!)

Use search. I answered the same question last week.
100 usd a seat, take out seats, cut glue solder, all works again. Plus you have found 10 usd in coins under your seat.
