Spark Plugs
What is the recommended changing time for the plugs? I cant find anything in the handbook, but i'm guessing at 60k if they are the usual platinum variety? there is no mention in any of the service receipts that mine have been done and i'm at 55k now so i'm considering it.
Are the plugs easy to change? on my last car the front bank was easy, but the rear bank (Mitsubishi GTO laterally mounted V6) required an hour of stripping down just to get to them, i'm hoping on the crossfire they are all easily accessible under the plastic cover?

Hi yes 2 per cylinder but if you shop around quite cheap. The maual says change at 100K miles but many have changed much earlier. I have done mine at 24K and on another XF 30K but when I removed them they still looked like new and I didnt notice any running difference in any way. You will need a long reach quality plug spanner and be prepared to graze your nuckles! It is made easier if you remove the six coils for access.

if the car is running smooth, @55K don't bother
Thats exactly what I was thinking, i've run 60k plugs to 80k before with no sign of deteriation on my last car as they were such a swine to change.
It does have an ever so slightly lumpy idle so I think i'll stick a bottle of injector cleaner in with the next fill of fuel and see if that clears it up.
Car went in for its IOM test today and went through ok, so I can now register it over here and that is also its last MOT as we dont have an annual test over here just an initial test when you bring a car over 3 years in from the UK or elsewhere.
During the test he did advise me to get the rear tracking checked and pointed out the inside quarter of both rear tyres are showing signs of scrubbing which i hadnt noticed, has anyone else had that problem?

The camber is not adjustable WITHOUT buying some adjustable camber links.
These are usually only necessary if the car has been lowered.
