Mo, I believe the pitch will be plenty big but expect we realy wont know the true size till we get there. Mike and I will try and get there as it opens and we will have a parking plan by then. I believe there approx 17 on the list with poss more to come if you take 2 and Paul n Sharon take 2. Looks like its going to be a good one

 

Will we break the record numbers of crossfire attending?

 

Sorry Mo only taking one as Sharon has to work on Sunday this week.

 

Is there a list to put your name on if attending?? I cant find one.
Also is it just one admission fee to display our cars and to the museum and how much??

I spoke to the museum and their response was just pitch up and pay on the day - I was quite specific and questioned if I needed to pre-advise and was told no...

 

Does anyone have any indication where to go on arrival? Is it in the main carpark or elsewhere?

Hi Everyone.
Just a short note about Sunday 5th meeting at Duxford.
We are looking to have a great turnout of Crossfires with an expectation of over 15 cars on the day that we know about, so let's put on a great display for the other visitors.
Just a reminder that we will be guided to our parking area by the marshalls and you need to enter the grounds* by following the yellow "Car Club" signs off the A505. Please do not use the main visitors entrance.
As usual we aim to meet at around 10.30 to 11.00 but please note that you will not be allowed into the exhibition area after 12.00. The IWM ask that we do not leave before 3pm. Admission is £10.00 per person.
With the weather forecast looking good I am sure we will have a great day.

Some of use from the Kent area are meeting up to drive up together, if anyone wants to meet us in Kent or on route, let me know and we can arrange a meet point
