Bit moor on Whistles

Wink Bit moor on Whistles

HI all, a bit more info , Took the glove box off to night and at the back there is a box that some very thin hard pips go in , it seems at the back off this unit there is a part that moves when you put the heater fan on , the whistles nose is coming from this, as if when you switch off the fan it does not close whatever is there , push it with you finger and it stops , before I do any more just mead to I dent what this is . thanks . Mike

( Never been bit on my whistle, but sounds painful )

Seriously, however, never been into that part of the car's anatomy, can't be of any help.

Yes , it’s at the back of that white box , there are some gears that move when the fan is turned on and off , these gears move a big flap on the car ,its not that end its at the white box end , as i said if you push it at that end the whistles stops thanks Mike

I also have developed a whistling in my 2005
I haven’t tried anything yet currently just confused.
i will try turning off the radio.
will report results. Presently working on rear glass being loose, great input from members and will report on outcome

Most likely a vacuum leak somewhere.
