Default UK Crossfires Castle Combe Meet 29th June

Start Your Engines - Its time for a return visit to Castle Comb Racing Circuit!

Meet Information – Castle Combe Classic & Retro Action Day 29th June 2013

We have reserved our own hard standing area to display our cars and there will be plenty of space!

There will be lots to see at Castle Comb with the car club displays and plenty of action on the circuit.

This years event has a new format for the Car Club Parade Laps on the circuit. For those wishing to take their cars onto the circuit, two options are offered.

This can be decided on the day. If you wish to take up either option, visit the Strawford Centre on arrival to book the session. Alternatively, the sessions can be booked on line in advance to get a small discount at www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk

Details as follows;

Option 1: Parade Lap With Pace Car 11.15 am or 15.15 pm £20.00

Cars will drive behind a pace car with speeds limited to 50 mph. No Overtaking. Seat Belts to be worn. No helmet required. Passengers allowed. Bring Driving Licence.

Option 2: Fast Parade Lap 11.30 am or 15.45 £25.00

Cars will drive behind a pace car with speeds set at around 70 mph. No Overtaking. Seat Belts to be worn. Arms and legs to be covered. Helmet is required (can be hired) Front Seat Passengers only allowed. Bring Driving Licence. Attend drivers briefing in garage next to Strawford Centre.

Admission Prices

Admission on the day: £15.00 (senior £10.00)

Gates are open from 07.00 but we expect most folks to arrive by around 10.30. When arriving just ask the gate staff to point you to the UK Crossfires pitch.

We look forward to seeing you there – a warm welcome awaits! Please email or text to 07954 685044 to let us know if you are planning to attend.

Lets put on a fantastic display of Crossfires!

Ha ha, well a touch of OCD is okay (I've got the teashirt!) Im all for a parking plan as an experiment - but problem is we don't know who's comming yet apart from the regulars, and I don't like the idea of having to ask folks to move their cars as we would have to juggle them around. Anyway, who up for the fast lap

Jane and Ken up for first am lap. I would do the second, but the crash helmet would spoil Jane's hair lol and would ruin her day, and mine!

See you Friday in the Premier Inn bar l

Hi all, sorry cannot do this one, I'll be in Turkey starting a few riots, especially if they don't put enough prawns on the BBQ
Have a wonderful day and you need to put all the blues at the front, being the best colour of course
