Obviously you think 180 is here as an irritant or you find his posts useless? Wait till the day that he no longer contributes, no longer helps forum members find the solutions to their mechanical woes.
Will you or Krinklease be here to fill his shoes?? Highly unlikely.
Go through his posts, he's helped more people on this forum than any of you put together.
Have some respect for his longevilty and his dedication to help others on this forum.
Less than two hours ago you agreed that the forum should not be used for bantering insults.....https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post747399 yet you insultingly provoke further confrontation in your post above. There is no need for further insults.

+1 ^^^^^^ ( what he said )

180 has corrected me more times than I can count, but the rub is that he has always been right

At which point did i say 180 was useless ? You appear to have the same problem as 180 when i apparently called him an idiot , both unsubstantiated.
This started when i offered my help to UK pete on an electric seat problem , i warned him their could be a problem refitting the air vent , but 180 wades in with his alternative description for a headlamp switch which is not required and how easy the job is , simply untrue for a possibly less experienced owner .
I dont have respect for arrogant people , who belittle other peoples achievements for the sake of banter , (and it is a proven sign of desperation when a poster has to refer to someones grammar when trying to make a point , hence my last post)
Your last post on this forum regarding respect for other members and yet you follow 180 trait of deliberately mis-quoting my user name , i hope you find the moral high ground your looking for.

Luckily i am a member of the RSOC , with my sierra cosworth and scoobynet which is a great source of information on my impreza sti , they are both very welcoming forums and would advise anyone to have a look in .
The UK crossfire forum is a very small membership in comparison and it needs as many contributors and owners to keep the interest and activity , i was hoping to meet up with some UK members , but if i am to be pursued by contributors like 180 and sparkie , on every post i make , then this forum has certainly lost its appeal to me , life really is too short to waste arguing the toss with our colonial friends , and such a hostile welcome certainly will not encourage any new members.
Getting back to the initial post "electric seats" ,before i cease visiting this forum, if you UK pete is looking in , hopefully i will have the information with reference to eurocarparts , i will PM you the details as soon as i get them.

oh! dear!, come on guy's lighten up, my comment was just a bit of banter,a tong in cheek comment not an excuse to start slagging each other off again.

If you feel the need to pop at each other, take it to PM as we really don't want to read the crap

So lets play nice

kinkladze if you want to meet up with other uk owners you would be made very welcome at one of our meets sometime, dont let comments from owners across the pond put you off, having said that in my 3 years as a crossfire owner and member of this forum i must say 180 has always been very knowledgeable and helpful to anyone who needed help, albeit he can come across as a little caustic..(think he is an ex brit and missing dear old blighty......no offense 180 i like reading your posts they make me smile..)...kinkladze you are an experienced motor engineer so carry on giving the benefit of your experience to those who need and want it in the uk and as i say would be good to hook up with you at a meet sometime....chris
