Thanks for sharing the video! This will probably the most up close and personal view that I will ever see a Crossfire at Nurburgring. It sure looked like a lot of fun.

I'm with Les, I could tell a few corners caught you off-guard, but largely a clean lap. Do you hit track days in the UK often, or was this your first track experience?

I have a custom built cat back Magnaflow exhaust, had it tuned to the desired note

I do quite a few track days, mostly on motorbikes and lots of supercar driving days, this was only the second time my SRT6 has been on track!

 

Sure did look like fun. Until I heard you ask your passenger if he was alright....... then him say " I'm going to be sick"?? That could be messy at that speed and g's.

 

the 'him' was a 'her' lol, the wife not sure she said she was going to be sick but it was close

 

The 'wife' here ! My actual answer to the question was ' I'm fine !!'. After all I've had lots of experience of being thrown round bends in the SRT !!!

 

That is what I heard as well. It's great that you can ride in the passenger seat and enjoy aggressive driving and the two of you can share the experience. Thanks to both of you for sharing the video. The SRT sounded great.Wish I could have joined you but the view from inside your SRT is as close as I will get.

 

You can own it for 160 million. The gov't has it for sale, as it is bankrupt which explains all the graffiti. Too bad as it is an icon. Thanks for sharing a historical track day with us.

 

Oh good....hard to hear it clearly. You are very trusting. I'm trying to get my wife to join me on a couple 1/4 mike runs in the near future but she said she'll only watch from the stands. But she's okay with me doing it.???
I guess a healthy life insurance policy makes it okay.

Indicated top speed 170mph :-) I am chipped and de-restricted :-)

Slightly more on speed limit free German autobahn.
