New Nearside Cat
Hello from Sunny Cheshire..Guys can anyone help..."My baby needs a new Cat"...I think due to a faulty sensor my near side cat has started chattering..and the dreaded management light has started to come on but it does go off again after a couple of days. I want to keep to the standard setup...dont need it to sound like world war 3 ..laugh..I have checked out the stealers price for the replacement and I am seeing my cardiologist on Monday..
)).. wow it wasn't cheap....so I have been looking around and have seen replacements as little as £140 with free fitting kits...they say they are made from stainless steel with a two year warranty....but that seems cheap considering what the dealer was quoting. I have also looked to the breakers..one company in the Northwest quoted £350 with a 2 month warranty. ...for a second hand exhaust ?....that's crazy !!....Guys have any of you had a non OEM replacement exhaust ? And how did it fair ?....and any recommendations would be very much appreciated.......thanks Guys...and lets be careful out there .
hi DJ...i know paul (thunderxf) sourced new cats from ebay a couple of years ago and had them fitted by his local garage and dont think he has had any problems with them, not sure how often he comes on here but if he does i am sure he can advise which supplier he got them from....chris
