Ace and RAF Museum 29th March 2014
Hi guys,
As usual, the UK Crossfires will be welcome at the UK Cruisers Ace Cafe meets in 2014.
The Spring meet is on Saturday 29th March at 11am.
After lunch we'll be cruising to the RAF Museum at Hendon for about 2:30.
Both venues are free. We have the forecourt reserved at the Ace and I'm hoping to get us a reserved parking area at the museum as well.
As I'm the West London Area Rep for the UK Cruisers, I'm duty bound to take a PT, but if any UK Crossfire members are attending, one of us will bring the Crossfire as well.
Please post here if you're interested and I'll keep you updated on the arrangements
Cheers
David

Hi guys,
RAF Hendon has just confirmed we'll be able to park the PTs and Crossfires in a reserved area.
They are offering some meal deals which I'll detail nearer the time, although I'll probably be to stuffed after lunch at the Ace!
Cheers

Dave,
Sadly, due to other family plans I'm unable to make this event.
Have a great day.
UKKen.
Hi guys,
So far I have about 10 PTs and 5 Crossfires coming to this double meet.
Don't forget, we have dedicated parking at both locations. The only charge will be the parking fee at the museum which is used to help maintain the fantastic collection of aircraft.
Post below if you're interested. No formal booking is required.
Cheers

Hi David, I have put this up on FB UK Crossfire Owners Group So there should be a few more Crossfires + at least one PT :-)

Hi guys,
It should be really good weather for tomorrow's UK Cruisers meet.
I've printed a few maps to get us from the Ace to the museum but if you have a Satnav the details are:
Ace Cafe NW10 7UD
RAF Hendon NW9 5QW
Additional Crossfires and PTs are still welcome. Just turn up at the Ace Cafe between 11.00 and 2:15 or the museum at 2.30.
I'll be in my PT tomorrow (PT02 FAB). I was going to bring the Crossfire as well but the wife is going away for the weekend.
Cheers

Thanks for your support guys. Sadly I got rear ended on the way home with bumper and wing damage to the PT
At least the other party seems to be accepting the blame.
Hopefully I'll have the Crossfire out to play for the next meet.
