Default Crossfire wanted

Hello, been looking in for a while and I have finally decided to take the plunge and treat myself, I've not got a massive budget at the moment a paltry £4000 and would like to know if this will get me a fairly decent one, or any members parting with one for that kind of money. I'm looking to buy right away and I know it's not a great deal of money but it's burning a hole in me pocket and available right away

Thanks and hopefully I'll see some of you soon.
I'm in leics.

Stephano

4k should get you a decent one, maybe not a late low miler but there are some decent honest car's around at that price, I just looked on autotrader and counted 68 for sale nationally, 21 of them at up to 4k, don't forget with cash in your pocket I'm sure you can haggle some of the 4.5k motors down too so you have plenty to go at.

Are you looking for a manual or auto? roadster or coupe? any particular colours that you do or don't want? post up exactly what you are looking for and I'm sure you'll get some contact.

Meantime don't rush into anything just because you have the money in your pocket, rushed car purchases rarely end well, take your time and see what comes up, it took me around two months to find mine as I knew exactly what I wanted and was prepared to walk away from anything that wasn't 100% right.

And if you find anything don't be afraid to post up on here and ask if there are any members in the locality available to nip and look at it for you, as with any car there are certain things to check when buying a used Crossfire which an existing owner will know about so this can be a big help and save you buying a lemon.

Thanks for that.

I have been browsing for a while, and I have show a little restraint, I went and viewed a red roadster in Leics last week 50k on the clock for £6995 I would probably have jumped in 10yrs ago, but the roof was intermitent and a fancy pants gearshift made me think again about it
this one:
Chrysler Crossfire 3.2 V6 2dr Auto FINANCE AVAILABLE CALL NOW

I could finance the rest if it came from a dealer would prefer a ex member pre loved if you know what I mean?

Ideally a soft top, in grey or black and Auto preferred but I know I will be stretching at that budget?

There is one in Scotland I really fancy looking at but its a long ol haul

Thank you ever so much once again

Hi Stephano

For £4000 I bought my black roadster with 52300 miles on the clock last October 2013 so you definitely can get a lot of car for 4k, good luck finding one. This is my first Crossfire and I love her, a great fun car to drive and she always makes me drive with a smile on my face.

Regards

Elena

Not if it turns out to be the right car, as I said earlier there is possibly a member on here who is nearby (and even speaks the language) and for beer tokens would nip and have a look around it for you first to save a wasted journey.

Mine involved a flight to Gatwick from the Isle of Man, a long train ride, then a 280 mile drive up to the ferry to bring her home, but I did my homework and knew what I was getting so it was worth it.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi Mo,

Love my Crossfire and have had a lot of fun with it over the last year. It's just circumstances and the need for more transportation room. If I could afford to run 2 cars I'd certainly keep it. Work has become more scarce over the last 6 months so that's not an option at this time.

So yeah, bit about it but needs must.

Cheers,

Pete.

Still looking after that deal didn't go quite to plan

Turned up to collect my black auto with 20k on to find it was a manual with 30k on so turned away although it was a great looking car.

So still on the prowl for a good un
