Those prices are WAY off. The car is worth what people are willing to pay

that is the problem though - fear of 'large engined' cars and the ingrained badge snobbery in the UK has to be seen to be believed TBH if the levels they were talking about were accurate (and it seems not as most of the cars were priced way higher) then the XF stays with me until it falls to pieces

Hi Waylander, are you putting your car up on autotrader or ebay??
Seeing as I'm on car watch, I can confirm that most of the cars at the higher than advised prices have been sat on the site for quite sometime now.

The ones with sold/gone on there, are the ones that are priced closer to the "autotrader adviced price"? I don't know if you did see the link on my post regarding a dreamy car which was out of my budget at the time and it was with a dealer in Southampton... 2006, gunmetal grey and 70,000 on the clock for £3990. Admittedly it was probably not in the state yours is in, so I'm sure potential buyers can justify the price. But autotrader, glass.co.uk all seem to come up with lower valuations than most are currently advertised for so surely there's a market for them, especially good quality ones.

Best of luck with the sale. I'll keep my eye out for it.
