Default Yet another one bites the dust

I was so looking forward to attending the Coventry meet but two weeks ago whilst cleaning my beautiful Crossfire some idiot came speeding round the corner and smashed into my garden wall crushing me between my Crossfire and PT Cruiser convertible. Both have been written off, I will definitely be buying another Crossfire and Cruiser but not just yet as I won't be driving for a while. Glad the Coventry meet was a success xx

Now that's a crazy story!
Glad to hear you made through the whole affair. Hopfully you weren't injured too bad.
Get healed and get back behind the wheel!

What sad news after all the work you have done on the Crossfire. But your OK and that what really matters. Keep in touch on this forum.

If you "sew his dumbass", that could lead to severe constipation ......

Follow on from my earlier post. Don't forget to remove all the special parts to both vehicle that have been fitted. You can either refit at a later date or sell. I'm sure you have already arranged the transfer of your number plates.

I hope your 100% better very soon.

Thank you for everyones kind words, the young scumbag hasn't been caught yet. He did leave me with a cracked pelvis and my right leg broken in 3 places so I won't be walking for 8 weeks but as soon as I can I will be looking for my next car. However I am happy to be alive and made £1700 on the car also. Hopefully see you at future meets xx

All the best Elena for your recovery,
I know if that was me I would focus on the replacement cars to help pass the time whilst not so mobile, hope to see you at one of the meets later in the year.
We had the same combination of Chryslers a few years ago but the Wifes love for Auto's forced me to change the manual CRD PT for something else, it was at shame they did not make the CRD in auto as the petrol was to thirsty for the everyday school runs at the time.

ElenaB, We read the news and saw the photo's!! Thank God you are on the mend!! You and your partner are in our prayers for a speedy and full recovery. I agree that you could use your "R &R" for a fun search for your next crossfire. May I recommend that when the wall is rebuilt...maybe put some heavy duty steel posts inside that could stop a Semi in it tracks!

Hi, thanks for the advice I will definitely look into getting a reinforced wall so the next scumbag can take the damage

Do you have any before pics of your black beauty? And a after pic of it so we can mourn another one gone?

It is my black convertible on Ebay that is being broken so that's an after photo and hopefully the bits are going to good homes. I am still not driving but always looking, are the prices correct, they seem so high or was I extremely lucky to get mine for £4000 last October?
