Selling my SRT6
Looking to sell my blue SRT6 convertible and thought i would put it on here first to see if anyone is interested.
The car has been 100% reliable in the 18 months that i have owned it, the only things i have had to change are the battery in January and 2 new front tyres, last October.
It had a major service before i picked it up including the water pump, serpentine belt, fuel filter & oil & filter, i changed the oil & filter last October.
I have also changed the filters to K&N panel filters & put SRT6 decals over all the standard Chrysler badges, these were bought from a forum member in the USA and are very good quality, they would come off very easily if not to your taste.
My reason for selling is i dont use it very often, (i have done 3500 miles in 18 months) i only take it out in dry weather at weekends and the rest of the time it is covered up, plus i could use the money for other things at the moment, its been a hard decision to put this up for sale as it is a fantastic car in terms of looks & performance but being realistic i dont need a third car, and the wife keeps reminding me of this!
The car is in very good condition, spec below
2005, 05 plate
full mot, done Saturday
tax till end of September
63600 miles, will go up slightly
comprehensive service history from new
owned by myself for the last 18 months
3 previous owners,
good tyres all round, new fronts
new battery
SRT6 decals
K&N panel filters
oil & filter changed in October
i will put some up to date pics on later but there are a couple on the link below.

well due to needing to free up some cash for my dogs impending surgery i am going to reduce the asking price to £7000.00 which i think is a very cheap price for an SRT in this condition.
please note i will not take any lower offers at this price.

That is a very good price! I think the main problem in moving it, it's a private sale, Most buyers spending that sort of cash want a warranty. Must admit, I'm surprised it hasn't sold.
As far as I'm aware it is the only SRT-6 for sale in the UK at the moment.
Well i'm not going to be too upset if it does not sell as its probably the best car i have had (out of a big list over the years), would just make things a little easier money wise at the moment if it sold.
Plus i know if i keep it long term i will more than likely spend a fortune on it chasing big power
and the mrs wont be impressed lol.

Just keeping my options open Steve
I've sold my 5 (not the one in the avatar, I've had another one since then) and I'm ideally looking for a 4 seater Convertible but I did love my SRT

Sorry guys the xfire went Saturday morning, i was sad to let it go as it was a fantastic car but at the end of the day it was costing far too much just to have it sitting on the drive for most of the time.
need to have a good think about what to go for next, i really want to get rid of the wife's xsara picasso as its a horrible machine but we need something big enough to get the dogs in.
