I maintain the SRT6 VIN# database on the forum under the SRT6 section of the forum. Please supply me with the last five numbers of your VIN#, just to add or identify the car and location, since it is a rare 2006 manufactured date SRT6, since you have the emblems on the front fenders and the seats with the newer SRT badging.
Good luck with the sale, it is a nice car....

Hi David, would you consider a more realistic price for it?
Hi,
The price is very realistic. These cars are rarities, especially in very good condition. In fact, I believe this is currently the only SRT-6 Roadster for sale in the UK and 1 of only 90 left in the world!
Interestingly, I had a trader who specialises in exotic cars offer me £8,500 and they would add at least £2,000 to that to retail it and that was without the SRT plate!
Remember also that there is a few months' road tax (at nearly £500 pa) plus a top warranty on the car, never mind the other extras.
Good luck in your search and thanks for your interest.
Regards,
David

Rob, If I'm wrong, I stand corrected. I was only quoting what I had been told by a member of the Crossfire Club
There were just over 3300 made, if you count Roadsters and Coupes (chuk_138 has the exact numbers). Not sure where they all are - but I know there are a lot of them here in the USA (well, if a couple thousand is "a lot", which it isn't.)

David I know the cars very well I have 3!! and there is only 85 now left in the UK, Think you will find quite a few more around the world lol. 10K isn't very realistic unless it is mint low mileage car, which your isn't. If you have been offered 8.5K for it I would say ****** his arm off as that is top dollar at the moment. The plate/tax warranty adds nothing to the value of the car, but just makes it a bit more saleable!
I know of a dealer who paid 8k for one, now trying to sell for 12k been stuck with it for over 12 months now!!!
I hope you do get 10k for it and wish you luck. But if you want to move it, I think you may need to rethink your valuation.
Hmmmmmmmmmm, that car would go for $12,000 to $14500 over here in the USA.
Your price would equal $16692 at the current exchange rate.
That sounds a bit high to me - but exchange rates, cost of living and such are not all that "1 to 1".
It sure is pretty.

Knock another grand off you might stand half a chance of getting one!!!

FWIW, I paid £8400 for my 28k 56-plate coupe about two years ago (35k now)
Then, as now, very few came up for sale but IIRC typical prices were around £8000 to £10000, mileage being the main deciding factor 'cos most were well looked after.
Mine started at £8800.
Needless to say, the higher priced ones took longer to sell - one at an optimistic £12000 hung around for ages - until it was reduced...
Doesn't seem to be much premium for roadsters 'cos all SRTs are rare - maybe £500?
Even though most of us would hate to admit it, prices have fallen a little since then - typically to around £7000 - £9000 - for cars with up to around 50k.
I think a higher-miler (68k??) sold more recently for about £6500 - lowest I've ever seen for an SRT - hopefully not a sign of things to come...!
Not all 'extras' appeal to everyone so whether they add real value to a car is very subjective.
So based on my own observations, I can see where Mo's coming from.

Private sale price from £6,030.00 to £7,560.00
In a moment of idleness a few weeks ago, I responded to an ad. for a "valuation" from WeWantAnyCar.
They've just sent me a reminder email that they still want to buy my 35k SRT6 - for £5455...
Dream on!
Even for trade that's pretty pathetic but it does indicate that £9k retail/private sale is pretty ambitious for a relatively high miler.
