Default Engine Cover - Free To Good Home

If anyone would like a spare engine cover, for example to practice experimental paint jobs on, I have one which is sitting on my bench in the garage, it is complete with air filter covers and intact, it just has a small amount of the silver finish missing around the nose area.

It was on my car when I bought it, but being a perfectionist I bought an unmarked one from a breakers to replace it.

I don't want to simply throw it in a skip if it is useful to anyone, so if you want it pm me, it will simply cost you the postage.

That's very nice of you. Good ones sell for $75(+) dollars in the states.

I just need the space, I'm one of those sad people who hangs on to all kinds of bits and pieces in case I have a use for them in future, but It has got to the stage that I need to de-clutter the garage.

No doubt I'll end up dumping this one and then breaking a lump out of mine a few weeks later

You are of course welcome to it but i'm guessing postage to the USA would be around the $75 mark so not really viable.

Ian just sent me this photo, a fantastic job which shows what can be done with a bit of experimenting.

it looks a lot different now to the dusty old cover I gave him!!
