Default Radio Code ???

Hi all UK owners.

Can anyone confirm if the Infinity stereo has a security code before I remove it to wrap the console, I've read the American head units aren't coded but the UK ones are but I cant find any info in the user manual about entering a code.

So can any UK owner confirm yes or no to a radio code

Mines a 2004 if it makes a difference.

That's good to hear,

I'm using some 5D carbon wrap,

I'm currently wrapping a few external bits that I made a start on tonight:

Never been a big fan of carbon fibre stickers but that looks good. I really look forward to seeing the finished car.

I took my radio out of my 2007 and didn't need a code when I put it back in. Did the same with my 2004 a few years ago but I needed the code to get the radio working again. It might just be a requirement for earlier models but I could be wrong.

If you have the standard radio it is NOT coded but if you have the built in Sat Nav radio it IS coded.
