Default Very poor radio signal

Hey guys,
To begin, this is my first post here so Hi to everyone from West Sussex, England.

I bought my crossfire a couple of weeks ago. It came with a Panasonic Radio/CD player which worked fine except for no radio signal, just static.

I quickly realised the aerial wasn't connected so I bought a convertor off eBay. It came very quickly and I installed it without issue. Even so, I am still barely able to pick up radio stations on the stereo.

Has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it?
