If you are exceeding a certain number of total characters in the signature you will not be able to save the changes.

Same number, I even tried to erase it. No luck.

Thanks for the effort on this Gary, I have just about given up on any edits to existing articles in major threads I have done.

I tried again - nada. All I see is the original post, there is nothing in the edit box at all. I will try to add something in the edit box and see if it overrides the existing signature.
Edit
If I add something in the edit signature box it appears in the old signature when I preview it along with the original text.

‘IB Jose’ should read ‘IB Missing’.

An up to date iPad.
My Windows 10 PC does not work either, also using an up to date system.

@onehundred80 I looked into your Signature issue and have found the following:

1) Looking at your signature field, which I've attached below, you will see the start of your Signature has 4 color codes selected and 4 size codes selected. As you probably know, you cannot do that with HTML. You can only "specify" one size and color at one time. The layers of color and sizes in a row could have been added by a software bug or during an update of your signature.

2) The size HTML isn't fully supported. That's why the size option is not available on the editor toolbar. It's not fully supported because the developers found that it didn't scale well across devices. With the increasing amount of mobile and different ways to access and use forums, this was a concern. If you entered in the size manually it executes but it does appear to break the editor. That's the real issue as to why you see a blank editor window. The size tags are breaking the function as it cannot display in the What You See Is What You Get Editor.

On Monday I'll ask the team about the size tag to see what is planned.

The layout was done before you changed the rules on the text size.
I cannot erase the posts either.
What I type in the blank edit box appears in the signature.

FINALLY! I got my sig to update AND even added more characters! WooooHooooooo! It was quite a LUCKY step in the proverbial kaka that I somehow got the sig line to update. I eliminated A LOT of extra 'lines' that were in the 'edit' pane (?), and then redid the large characters on the first line to the 'normal' size allowed. Don't, PLEASE don't, ask me why or how, just know I am HAPPY I got all (if not more) information back in/added to my slowly dwindling sig line. Again, WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!

Dave, I sure hope for all the membership's sake, you can get this fixed through IB team intervention. It would be a HUGE loss if the data crashes any further than it is already. Tread softly my friend, I know the feeling of loss when my simple edits of documents (any documents) get lost due to some random (sometimes self administered) glitch(s).
