New guy here, Hi
I have admired the Crossfire since it's intro. I was looking at one parked down the block, and was bitten by the XF bug. I am in North County San Diego. Which dealer gives good service?
I am officially starting to look for a nice used car.

Welcome aboard! The Xfire's are being had for well below book nowadays. I've owned my '05 SRT-6 for only a week now and it only cost me $20,998 with only 2,200 miles. I'm loving the car more and more I drive it. Good luck finding one too.

As for purchasing: I bought my coupe from CarMax, which turned out to be a pretty good way to go. I searched my "local" (Sacramento!) CarMax lot, and jumped when they had the car I wanted. By the time I got to the dealer, the price had already lowered. Nice.
I recently acquired an SRT-6 as a site-unseen internet purchase. I'm happy to tell you that all worked out quite well -- good price, straight up dealership (5 star Chrysler dealer). Not that my stomach wasn't doing flipflops the whole time, mind you. I had to pay for transportation, so that was kinda the only bummer. You probably know all the sites to haunt (or use RSS -- the info comes to you!): cars.com, autotrader, etc.
There are good online tools for researching vehicle title, repair history, etc. There's also a service that sends an independent appraiser to check out the car, then sends you the report.
Service: Chrysler 5 star for warranty work. Call around, ask the service manager if they have Crossfire-trained service tech. If yes, schedule the work with him.
Best of luck. We all love our XF's; you probably will too.
go to your local chrysler dealership, ask for the internet & fleet department, ask them to search the chrysleronline auction website.
http://www.chrysleronlinesales.com (only dealers can login, so dont bother trying)
I got my SRT for $13,600..
P.S. IF they give you a hard time about it send me a PM, i will hook you up with a dealer who will. Also, if they do seach it for you, make sure you write down the VIN# for the care they quote you on and I'll double check the price, make sure they dont rip you off.

Though I've lurked on this site for a few years, I've just now joined so I could, much to my dismay, perhaps find an enthusiast buyer for our Crossfire. You'll find the ad over in the Cars for Sale forum. You might want to check this one out...regardless, hope you enjoy a Crossfire soon! We sure have.
