cars and coffee 9-26-09
Some one told me Cars and Coffee Saturday 9-26-09 has been relocated. They are having a Mazda show there. So I took my Crossfire there on Saturday 9-19 and they gave me a flier with a map showing how to get there. They are also going to charge $10 to get your car in. If I can remember, I will down load the map and put it on here somewhere.

9/26 is also the date for Cruisin' for a Cure at the OC Fairgrounds...... my plan was to head over there later in the day (work gets us in for free with a free lunch too). Last year they moved C&C to another site off, I believe, Ortega HWY for a Mazda event as well. I don't remember if it specifically coincided with C 4 a C then or not.
Maybe we should hold off for a week or two, eh Karl?

I have a big problem with putting it off. My job requires me to tour multiple sites across America and will be starting the day after on the 27th. I will be pretty much on the go through the first week of December. As a result the 26th turns out to be very important.
Maybe we should just move the group over to the Cruisin' for a Cure, actually a good cause and maybe a group of Crossfires at one of these events will get us some attention and be fun at the same time.

I will get the info tonight, it has been moved to someplace of Ortega hwy, some kind of a Fire dept. fund raising thing. Well that narrows it down a little. Some where between Capistrano, and Lake Elsinore on Ortega.

Personally I'm fine with the Ortega HWY meeting point as I live a stones throw (if you have a REALLY good arm) from Ortega anyway. Let's see what grayroadster posts up about the venue specifics later today.
Finally someone came through for me...... I thought I remembered this event from last year (not that I went, just that I remember it).
I will NOT be going to this as I have other commitments later in the morning and this could easily turn into an all day affair. Plus, oddly enough, this is a judged show where as the regular C&C is more of a casual cruise in sort of thing.
For anyone else interested, below is the flyer for the event. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing some old friends, and making new ones, October 10th at the usual C&C location.
