I'll be driving my XF out to Vegas the week of April 12th for business. I am thinking about driving down to Arizona after Las Vegas. Would anyone be interested in meeting for dinner or going for a drive April 17 or 18th? I don't have exact dates as to when I will be in the Phoenix area.

 

Hey if you're looking for a pleasant drive on the 17th how about a slight detour to the Dragon?............We'll miss you this time round, hope to see you in the Fall.

 

I so wanted to go this spring. I'll be at the CAA in June though.

 

I'll have to see what's going on once the date gets closer and maybe I'll take the 6 out for a friendly cruise. Valley of Fire and the road around Lake Mead from there is like a giant(and rarely patrolled) road course. The last time I "cruised" through there was with my SRT-8 and I was doing 120mph most of the way.

 

I saw that road from the helicopter back in November when I was in Las Vegas and took a helicopter tour over to the Grand Canyon.
I told the pilot if I had my Crossfire there that I would love to run that road.
He said it is rarely patrolled and he occasionally spots cycles and sports cars running fast on that road. !!!!!

 

Let me know about Phoenix -- I work in the NE part of Scottsdale (near WestWorld where they have the BarrettJackson auction). Would certainly meet up if I'm not traveling....
