Default MCSO Toys 4 kids car show in Queen Creek, AZ.

NationwideCarShows.com: Event: MCSO Deputies Christmas Car Show for Kids

I took 1st place last year, anyone interested in trying to take it away from me this year?

I'd be happy to see more Crossfires out there!

Let me know if you have any questions!

D.

I might just try to do this. Just got my '04 coupe Wednesday night.

It looks like you just show up with toys for the kiddos and park for 4-5 hours, right?

I am not out there yet but ,my car is and I am trying to talk my son into showing it at that show. It would be cool to get trophies on both coasts.

Germany, are you still going to MCSO on Saturday. Trying to work it out. I will detail Kitty on Friday, just in case I can make it. Let me know if you are going. Trippendicular welcome to the site.

Thanks for the welcome Ronco...

I'm vacillating on whether I can get it looking slick enough by Saturday A.M. so it's worthy to sit next to you guys. She's not perfect; I can see her flaws. But I'm hungry to come out, so that might outweigh all my hesitation.

Will they try to park us together? Or is it random how they arrange the vehicles?

This is the first time I'm planning on participating in this event. That is why I'm waiting for Germany to chime back in. Don't worry about car, wash, wax, vaccum, and your good. My car has almost 29K miles. You will have the usual wear and tear. I'm going for the Christmas cheer and see cool cars. Maybe meet some other owners. There is another web site for Xfire owners and many are in the valley. They haven't been hugely active but usually get together once a year for a weekend cruise. Geat people, fun time.

I get it... I'd like to hear from Germany, too.

It's all ready to go, probably just needs a *little* prep on Friday.

Well, if at least one of you plans to go, it's worth it for me to show up, too. I love going to shows and cruise-ins as a spectator anyway, so I'll take any opportunity to look at cars. I've just never participated before (but this sounds like a good place to start).

It would be fun to take a run down to Tortilla Flats after event is over. Great Cruise. Still don't know if I can make it. Trying though.

Keep me posted... I'd just really like to have my first confab with other Crossfire owner(s) since my only interaction thus far's been through the forum.

I'd probably have to head home after... because of my new ride, I've been neglecting hail damage-related house repairs and a whole host of other chores. Gah!

Its basically self park. We meet at the proving grounds and then get a police escort to the market place where we display the cars. If we just stick together there will not be a problem parking next to each other

Sorry for the wait, but finals have started at ASU and its chaos atm.

I would love to see both of you come out on saturday to rep. the Crossfire community! There are no really active members in the metropolin area, so lets make a start!

Do not worry too much about how tha car looks. I have 73k miles on mine, one foglight is shattered and the other one is chipped and I still entering because its for a good cause, so no worries about that!

I will get it as clean as possible by saturday in order to give it my best shot at victory .

Entry fee is 2 unwrapped toys!

I hope I will see both of you out there!!!

If there are any questions, concerns, let me know

All right! I'm bringin' toys and aiming to be at the proving grounds between 8a and 8:15a.

I'm getting totally jazzed about this. By Saturday, I'll only have had the car a week-and-a-half.

See you guys out there!

Germany, that really stinks. I just got done working on Kitty for 4 hrs.
I guess she was worse than I thought. Tried that new Magiur NXT wax. Pretty sweet, really like it. I am 80% there. Just have to get two toys.

Probably 8:30ish. Like I said, still need to get gifts. Trying to decide what to bring.
So is this in a shopping center? I'm worried about fluids and food????

Yeah, thats when I will be there as well. I got a small Football, a soft baseball bat with ball and some playdo.

The actual car show is in Queen Creek market place, there is a chicken-filet, chipoltle and paradise bakerey to choose from.

Well, none of us walked away with a plaque and I blame that on the fact that there were FOUR Crossfires in attendance, and we simply blinded everyone with our awesomeness.

I have a few shots, if they came out all right, to share on here. When I post them in the gallery, I'll let you know.

Nice to meet all of you.
