How about the Innova 3100j ? Anyone have experience with this scanner? Autozone sells this model, as well as others. I guess the Innova model 3100 and it's newer models (i.e. a, b, c, d, etc.) are all pretty much the same. Love to hear your experience's, pro and con.

Thanks,

Jim

I have the 3100a it is OK, nothing special, I also have an ultra gage - it is so so, a Vident iLink 420 and a BlueDriver. Fortunately I have not really used them too much, The BlueDriver gave specific details of which part of the system needed attention when I was resetting the pollution system on the car after a battery failure, the Innova 3100a was just telling me that it needed the pollution system reset. I have just got the Vident and not used it at all, it is bi-directional and says it can bleed some ABS pumps, not on the Crossfire it seems. I loaded the Chrysler and Mercedes programs.
It also claims to reset ABS systems, not sure about that. It is pretty cheap though, maybe too cheap and it is not much good.
Padgett did some posts on various scanners, check them out or ask him in a thread or a PM.
I think the BlueDriver seems OK if you have a laptop, an iPad or similar, it uses a dongle and Wi-Fi.
