Best looking alloys on a Crossfire ever?
Restored,
I actually I was not replying back to you but I'm glad you chimed in, I like your wheels as well. I'm not a "chrome fan" per se, but that's quite a nice look you've got there. I'm just too old to be "street pimpin".
As the thread implies, it's just a great resource for those interested in making nice upgrades, like yours, to their wheels to know where to go and how much damage (to the wallet) to expect. Well done bud!

I love the overall look of the Startech wheels on this V8 Crossfire:

Sennaspirit, I contacted Startech about the wheels months ago...but they referred me to the more common monostar V wheels that they offer (the split-spoke wheel that everyone has seen on a startech crossfire). They never seemed to mention these nice 5-spokes. I think the name of these wheels are called the Monostar IV. I keep on seeing these wheels on the 300 though:

I'll send startech another e-mail.

GD, are you seeing those wheels on production 300's (privately owned) or in advertising/promo shots? I'm starting to feel those are not production wheels. Keep updates coming!
Sennaspirit...I don't know if you already did, but if you look at the Startech link I posted above, go to the 300C/Magnum tuning page. There you will see the wheels that we are both looking for (Monostar IV) available for the 300...I have sent Startech an email demanding those wheels on the Crossfire. I'll let everyone know the response when Startech gets back to me.
Yesterday I received this email from startech in regards to getting the Monostar IV wheels.
"Thank you for your e-mail. Please be advised that the wheels shown in
the link you sent are not available for the Crossfire. The wheels in the
photo were prototype wheels made for a possible special edition for Chrysler
Europe."
FYI...this was the link I sent him:

Basically, he was telling me that those wheels were only available on their 426 hp V-8 Crossfire.

Do these 19 inch wheels from the forthcoming special edition 5.5 litre V8 SLK 55 AMG Black Series coupe look familiar? Sixteen spokes versus fifteen in the SRT6, but who's counting?
